The Mobile Medicare Unit project is functioning at Deogarh District of Odisha under the support of SSEPD. It provides medical services which include diagnosis, treatment, therapy and referrals to Govt. Hospitals for advanced treatment. The beneficiaries covered are a poor rural old aged person living in remote villages who doesn’t have quick access for medical aid. The MMU team consists of a qualified and trained medical doctor, Pharmacist etc. They visit the villages with specific action plan to treat the already identified needy patients and enrol new patients.  The team will have basic diagnostic equipment and medicines which are supplied free of cost. The registration medical camps and treatment to the rural old aged people is a continuous process. The people who are 60 years above are provided services under the scheme. The Project innaugurated in April 2022 by the District Collector & District Magistrate Sj. Sudhanshu Mohan Samal. Now the project cover 4832 nos. of beneficiary health check up till date.
