The team of VIRD is in two layers: The General Body and the Staff. The management is vested with a Governing Body democratically elected from among the members of the General Body. The staffs are further in two categories: Core staff and Project Staff.

The General Body consists of all members who meet at least once in every financial year.

The Governing Body meets at least 4 times during a financial year. Presently the Governing Body has 7 members. The tenure of the Governing Body is 3 years as per the Bye Laws of the institute.

Total 28 nos. of Permanent Staffs are deputed for different project of organisation, 4 nos. of staffs are part-timely associated and 12 nos. of Volunteers working under VIRD.
